Flower Essences and You

 

The field of Mind-Body Medicine is the way of the future. Man has come to understand, albeit slowly that we are not just a physical entity with functioning mind, but our emotions bind the functions of the two. By relating to the world around us through our emotions, we are able to function at level of the heart. All life is a trinity of Mind-Spirit-Body. The balance and interaction of these three signifies a healthy individual.

 

Taking flower essences is one of the most popular forms of vibrational medicine. It is one therapy which allows the individual to see his changes in a progressive fashion.

 

The vibratory rate of each essence will strengthen a weak emotion or quality in some and elevate toleration levels of stress in other individuals.  However, each flower’s vibrational qualities serve to help us achieve self-confidence, eliminate fears and worries and strengthen courage and drive.

 

There are numerous flower essence sets from around the world including the typically well known Bach Flowers from England from Dr. E. Bach in the 1930’s. Dr. Bach’s re-discovery of the importance of flower essences in our healing process served as the pioneer work for the new generation of essences which began again in the 1980s.

 

Each set has captured the healing properties and frequencies of its environment. Some essences work at a greater or dramatic speed and some work more to heighten those positive qualities in man rather than heal an emotional condition or weakness.

How to Take Flower Essences:

 

Flower Essences, depending on their origins must be taken for a period of between one to three months in order to see stable and lasting changes. Each step of the way, new discoveries about our fears and weaknesses will tend to show up and we are able to identify the root of the problems. As one emotion disappears, another may rise up which lay underneath.

 

The root of most emotional conditions is fears and as such, it is almost always addressed in any flower essence mix that is prepared.

 

After the first 10 days, it is vital to meet with the therapist again to review the progress of the effects caused by the flower essences. Some issues or emotions may disappear altogether; some will take a little longer.

 

Place the prescribed amount of drops under your tongue.

Take them before meals. If you forget a dose, then still take them at the time you remember – don’t skip!

It’s helpful to keep a record of your changes in emotions, reactions to daily problems and any success handling of conflicts or challenges. This helps to gauge your progress!

 

During these periods of change, it is important to remain in contact with your therapist in case you have any questions about the change you experience. Remember, all change is good!
