Gemstone Oils
Ancient healing arts in different cultures all refer to some measure of use and reliance on gemstones in order to heal their sick, wounded and dying. As nature often does, those minerals and gems most prolific and particular to that region of the world held the cure and remedy to the ills in that part of the country. Any spiritual understanding of how this universe supports us would accept the notion that a certain mineral, stone or element abounds in a specific region in order to help heal those living beings and organisms original to that area. Man creates the problems, nature provides the solutions.
A perfect example of this concept is in the history and evolution of amber, a sap formation aging upwards of three to five million years and is known to provide for the curing and elimination of various conditions, impurities and illnesses is also a potent protective agent against spiritual harm or negative forces. Perhaps we might think, it is because it is the release or product of a tree, another form of life, and then crystallizes in order to be used at later period.
Although I can point to numerous references on the healing properties, I would like to share personal experiences in which I have seen direct results from gemstones in many forms.

In my particular experience, I have seen specific reactions from stones that have given of their qualities to a medicine, oil or water on a consistent basis. I begin any form of treatment with aromatherapy to relieve conditions and remove toxins. A perfect case in point is amber. I have a young female patient (15 yrs) who is asthmatic, very thin and wiry of disposition. She is high strung at all times. She has a tendency to accumulate much phlegm, and is often cold. Though her asthma is often under control, cold nights inhibit her breathing. Other conditions that need to be strengthened are her development process and also increasing her appetite.
Each time that I have prepared for this patient a healing oil, or elixir I have always included a chip of amber. Without exception, the combination of the essential oils together with the stone qualities of warmth and detoxification produce some amazing results. This patient as of late suffers less bouts of asthma, little or no phlegm or catarrh and has a stronger healthier appetite. This blend seems to strengthen the kidneys due to its color and properties (the kidneys are responsible for creating and storing life essence).
I have observed the same consistent results with citrine which also hones in on digestive and excretory systems with beneficial effects; they balance the thyroid gland and stimulate the thymus gland.
